28/07/2014 - The weather sucks. I mean, it's summer and there are just 17° C. It's fucking cold, and I have no clothes (when I told my father that the weather forecast said that it was cold, he just laughted at me, so I have only tshirts and shirts). We slept 12 hours last night. In the afternoon I brought my grandma to a cousin of her (one of her tousands cousins) and then to a friend of her to buy eggs. This friends has a lot of chickens and gooses, and a beautiful cat. So I took a lot of pictures! Yeah, this is the best place to practice with my new camera.

The land of far far away.
27/07/2014 - Travelling again. No, I'm joking. I'm just going to my grandama's house near San Marino. Kinda far, like 5 hours by car. She lives on the hills between Emilia Romagna and Marche. So, I went to the Esselunga in Castellanza to pick my boyfriend up and we left. Pleasant trip, no trucks as it is Sunday. Five hours later, here we are. The Rocca of San Leo. We had to stop to take some pictures, because the view with the sunset was amazing. Three kilometers and we arrived at my grandma's house. Tonight piadina for dinner. Yummy. After that, straight to bed. So tiring driving all day long.

Best Tiramisù ever. Mine, of course.
How to make the perfect Tiramisù? It's kinda easy, but you need very good ingredients to make it delicious.
WHAT YOU NEED:
WHAT YOU NEED:
- 4 eggs
- 400 g mascarpone
- 2 teaspoon of rhum or brandy (I'd rather use rhum)
- 300 g savoiardi biscuits
- 100 g sugar (the smaller the better)
- coffee (already done)
- unsweetened cocoa powder (just for the top)
HOW TO:
- separate the egg white from the yolk (I use this funny tool, but it's very useful).
- mix the yolks with the sugar (if you use the electric whisk it's easier).
- add the mascarpone and mix it with a wooden spoon or a palette knife (tip: in our kitchen we have a wooden spoon just for sweets, not to mix the flavours). After using the wooden spoon, you can use the whisk to blend it in better.
- add the rhum (or brandy).
- in another mixing bowl (better if it's a glass one) beat half of the egg whites till they will stuck on the bowl even if you turn it upside down.
- add the egg whits to the cream and mix gently with a wooden spoon od a palette knife, from the bottom to the top. DON'T USE A WHISK, you will ruin the beaten egg whites.
- put the cold coffee in a soup plate with a little bit of sugar (not to much!)and a tablespoon of water (it depends on how strong you want the coffee flavour); run the savoiardi in the coffee. You have to be very fast while doing this, otherwise they will be too wet.
- after the coffee, put the savoiardi in a casserole and cover the whole bottom with the biscuits.
- add a layer of cream, then repeat the process with the savoiardi and cream again.
- now that you have to layers, you can put your casserole in the fridge for at least two hours before serving it.
- at the moment of serving it, just sift the cocoa powder on the top.

O mia bela madunina, che te brilet de luntan.
11/07/2014 - Today I went to Milan with my mum to do some shopping (sale period, yeah) and to see a Klimt exhibit in Palazzo Reale, next to the Milan Cathedral. It was such a big disappointment! It was on the life of Klimt, and actually it had a lot of paintings of the painter that inspired Klimt, especially in the first part of his artistic production (so not the beautiful golden works we think of when we talk about Klimt).
There were just two or three really famous and interesting paintings, no more. The ticket was 11 €, but as we travelled with Trenord it was half price (luckly). To note that in Palazzo Reale, under the main gate on the left side there is a very nice cafè, one of the oldest one with a certain charm, and it is not so expensive. I mean, same price as a normal bar. Then we went to Banana Republic because I needed to buy some trousers, but I ended up buying a new trench and my mum bought a jacket. It was 70 € for both, quite nice price, isn't it? Then, we headed to Zara, but stuff there was still too expensive (I mean, in the sale period I want to save A LOT of money).
For lunch, we went to the new Brian & Berry building opened in San Babila square. Ehm, it's a very cool place. Maybe a little bit too cool. We ate at the -1 floor, in a piadineria. It was about 9 € for a piadina (but actually it's two piadinas one on the other) and a salad. If you consider that you are in the centre of Milan, it's not such a big deal. In this building there is Eataly, where you can buy the most expensive food on the market. It's a nice idea if you are here and you want to bring back home something good to eat (you should also have a look at the 7th floor of La Rinascente, in Vittorio Emanuele avenue). After lunch, it was almost 3 o' clock, so we had just a little walk in the galleria and in the Scala square. Actually we wanted to eat an ice-cream at Grom's but there were too many people waiting. Oh Milan, I missed you so much.
