18/02/2014 - Day off. My
roommate and I decided to go to 南普陀寺 Nanputuo temple (I will add some
photos later on, I would love to come back in a sunny day). Getting there from
school is very easy, just take bus 751 and get off at the last stop. It is a
quite long trip, about an hour and something. Nanputuo is a bhuddist temple
near a hill, very nice and quite big. The good thing is that it’s free, so I
can return there as much as I want. You can go up to the hill and see the city
(not today). We went also to the main campus of the university, going through
the students’ entrance with our “student passport”. I wish I could live there,
instead of Xiang’an campus! Then we went in a flower market (it means: just two
florists) and we bought a flowery pink plant for 60 RMB. Coming back home, we
bought also some fruits (banana, apple and mango. To note: mango seems to be
the “fruit of the city”) which were so expensive, especially the mango! I
stopped in Cengcuoan, where we had the hostel, to buy that horse for 57 RMB.
Hello mr. Sterdam! My boyfriend suggested me this name, because so the horse
can say: “hello, I AM-STERDAM”. Ah-ah. And we are 21.![]() |
